Why air service is important, and what you can do
Our existing air service is inadequate for a capital city. To be more precise, our destinations and flights aren’t adequate to support the growing vitality of our business, industrial and educational communities—and to support increasing convention and tourism business in this region of Wyoming.
Improve air service in Cheyenne and the region by building a new airport terminal (now underway and scheduled for completion in late 2018) that will attract new flights to new destinations.
Call to Action
- Support the new airport terminal and improved air service by contributing to minimum revenue guarantees to share upfront risks with new commercial carriers.
- Support airport-based incentives and marketing support for new routes. Fly new routes as they’re added.
- In the future, think Cheyenne Regional Airport as the first leg of your journey.
